Never drawn a Beaufighter before. I've always liked the look of these planes. All engine.

After beginning this sketch, I realized that I had unconsciously imitated Marks composition almost exactly. I was going to start again but thought...what the Hell....he should consider it a compliment. I'll try and be more original next time.

New Sketch

Tried a different angle as I believe I needed to reveal markings. I think it tells the story better, even though the angle isn't quite as dynamic.

Balloon Buster

Based on an article in 'Aeroplane' magazine about Japanese 'Balloon Bombs' that were sent over western North America during WWII

Hopefully it'll get coloured but 'paying jobs' will dictate that schedule.
